Terms of Service

1. What Akadi is

Akadi ("the Service", available at akadi.co) generates short-form marketing videos for your product, lets you review and schedule them to your own social media accounts, and measures clicks and conversions per video through tracking links. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Your account and your content

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
  • You keep all rights to your product content. You grant us the limited license needed to generate, store, and publish videos on your behalf.
  • You are responsible for the content you approve and post, and for having the rights to any material you supply, including the website or store listing you add.
  • Product images you upload may be resized, metadata-stripped, converted and embedded into generated videos solely to provide the Service.
  • You may only connect social media accounts you own or are authorized to manage.

3. AI-generated content

Videos are generated with artificial intelligence. Akadi automatically applies platform AI-content labels to synthetic media and posts only through official platform APIs. You agree not to remove or circumvent these disclosures and to comply with each platform's terms.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service for content that is illegal, deceptive, infringing, hateful, or that violates the policies of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or other connected platforms. We may suspend accounts that do.

5. Billing

  • Plans are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe; yearly plans still receive their video allowance each month. Video allowances are metered in video units; unused units roll over one month.
  • You can change or cancel your plan at any time from Settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period.
  • Provider outages or failed generations are refunded in video units automatically.
  • Uploading product media and replacing media in an existing draft do not consume additional video units, subject to the published storage and abuse limits.

6. Termination and data deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time, self-serve, from Settings. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee views, conversions, or revenue, and we are not responsible for actions taken by social media platforms on your accounts. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three months before the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
